  I was a customer with Springleaf. I can't remember whom my loan specialist was but I now have a loan with Onemain. Mason Butler was the Personal Loan Specilist that I dealt with. He was pleasantly friendly and efficient. I like that Onemain is customer oriented instead of email only.

  Manager & the staff according to me were either discriminating or are not financially trained properly to understand about their responsibilities, guidelines & circumstances. I applied for credit and got approved. I was advised via email for certain things to bring in to the local office were as follows: 1. Be sure to bring a Government ID (e.g. DRIVER'S LICENSE, State ID Card, Passport, or Military ID) 2. Examples of income verification documents may include recent pay stubs, most recent signed tax documents, or BANK STATEMENTS VERIFYING DIRECT DEPOSIT. 3. Provide TITLE to a VEHICLE where your equity (value of vehicle minus amount owed on vehicle) at least equals the amount of the loan. This is needed for the secured loan option only Went to the branch i was told that i have to bring my tax return to get this loan. When i explained that my financial situation has changed since tax return, i can therefore submit BANK STATEMENTS VERIFYING DIRECT DEPOSITS as per their requirement along with letter of Employment from the Company where i an currently working showing revenue to justify loan requirements. I am trying very hard to reach their corporate office to discuss this matter, but have not heard anything back from them yet. This is not a joke. These people have wasted my resources & time even though i told them that i am trying to take care of my father who is in critical care. I have chosen to bring this under the notice of Tennessee Department of Revenue for this Company to understand how to give concrete reasons or answers when people apply for these kind of loans. Why & on what grounds the loan was not processed. We as Public demand to ask for any logical reasoning & don't expect to be treated like this with their unprofessional attitude.
